Schedule
From December 2006 onwards
Goals
Increase opportunities to enjoy live music with the creation of the first mobile consumer service dedicated to concerts, to be streamed from videophones.
Target
All live music fans
Project
Digital Magics creates a Live Music Channel on H3G’s UMTS Portal “Tua TV” (Your TV), the first mobile consumer service to allow all subscribers to access a prestigious live concert library either via Mobile TV (flow TV) or video-on-demand (selecting your favourite artist’s concert).
Live music opens up to new scenarios, increasing usage opportunities to satisfy the needs of an increasingly demanding and expert audience.
This is a unique service, the only one of its kind in the world. It starts from the historic live concerts of the Sixties with Jimmy Hendrix and extends right up until the concerts of the most important artists on the Italian and international music scenes today, with special features, musical formats and much more besides.
Every month additional new and exclusive content is added to the channel, which started in 2006. All content can be viewed by the quick and easy purchase of an electronic ticket for streaming viewing, valid for 72 hours from activation, directly on the user’s 3Italia videophone.
By means of the SegnaVideo function, developed by 3Italia to adapt use of long-playing videos on the Videofonino® videophone, clients can interrupt viewing of a concert and then restart it from where they left off at any time within the 72 hours for which the service is valid.
