Layla Pavone

In 1988 Layla Pavone began her professional career in the Marketing Department of SPI Società per la Pubblicità in Italia (Company for Advertising in Italy) by Gruppo Publicitas. From 1993 to 1994 she worked in Poland for the advertising agency’s startup operating within the newspaper Zycie Warszawy and also on the launch of the syndicated television Poland 1, owned by the Italian publisher Nicola Grauso. In 1995 she contributed to the startup ’Video Online’, the first ISP in Italy, focusing “in a pioneering way” in the area of ​​marketing and online advertising. In 1997 she joined Publikompass, creating the first advertising agency representing a network of 35 sites (such as Virgilio, ItaliaOnLine, Finanzaworld, Internet Bookshop, La Stampa, etc…). From 2000 to April 2014 Layla Pavone has been working at Dentsu Aegis Network as Isobar Italia Managing Director, founding iProspect in Italy and contributing to the foundation of the international networks bearing the same name, leading consulting and marketing services, digital and interactive advertising.

From 2003 to 2010 Layla Pavone was President of IAB Italy – a chapter of the Interactive Advertising Bureau International Association for the development and promotion of interactive advertising – today she is the Honorary President. In 2003 she founded the IAB Forum, which today is the most important event in the world of online advertising. From 2006 to 2008 she was President of IAB Europe. From 2012 to 2015 she was President of Centro Studi Assocom (Italian Association of communications companies) and a member of the Board of Directors of Audiweb. She was a member of the the Board of Directors of Italia Startup (association representing the ecosystem of innovative companies). She is currently an Independent Director of Editoriale Il Fatto.

She is professor and Co-Director of the Master for Digital Communications Specialist at Almed-Università Cattolica in Milan.

In April 2014 she joined the Board of Directors of Digital Magics as Partner.

On November 30th 2015 she was appointed Managing Director of Digital Magics for Industry Innovation.

On December 12th 2017 Layla Pavone was appointed Chief Innovation Marketing and Communication Officer of Digital Magics, with responsibility in particular for managing the activities of Open Innovation, acceleration programs and marketing and communication activities.
