Stefano Molino

Board Member

Stefano is Partner at Innogest SGR SpA, where is currently in charge of the digital practice and focuses on deal selection, transaction management, contract negotiation and closing of new investment opportunities.  Stefano has been board member and advisor in several Innogest portfolio companies including Userfarm (European video crowdsourcing platform – sold to Filmmaster), HT (It security), Agroils Technologies (biomaterials and biofuels from non-food crops), 40SouthEnergy (wave energy production), Silicon Biosystems (circulating tumor cells sorting technology – sold to Menarini Group), Withfounders (digital accelerator), Drexcode (online fashion rental) and Armadio Verde (second hand marketplace for kids).

Before joining Innogest, Stefano was Investment Manager at Piemonte High Technology, a seed VC investment firm specializing in investments in hi-tech startup companies.

Previously, Stefano was business development manager at Fondazione Torino Wireless, the first technology district in Italy. At Torino Wireless Stefano advised several companies on strategy and business development to help them in their international expansion, mainly in the US market.

Stefano has held several university and post-university master courses, mainly on entrepreneurship, finance and innovation. Stefano holds a Master of Science (summa cum laude) in Engineering & Management from Polytechnic University in Turin and received a Ph.D from Polytechnic University in Milan, with a doctoral thesis on Venture Capital and valuation of hi-tech companies assets.

In February 13, 2017 he joined the Board of Directors of Digital Magics.
