This Web site (hereinafter the "Site") is produced and managed by Digital Magics S.p.A., with registered office in Milan, at Via Orobia, 3, post code 20139 (hereinafter the "Company"). 1. Information collected through the Site and method of collection When you enter the Site, our server automatically registers your IP user address – i.e. the number assigned to your computer or your network when you navigate on the Internet – the name of your provider, the date and the duration of your visit. Furthermore, subject to your express consent, your “Personal Data”, i.e. all the personal information that allows your identification (such as your name and surname, postal and e-mail address and other personal identification numbers and/or codes) are collected and held on the Site. 2. Source of personal data Personal data are provided voluntarily, directly by the individual users upon registration to access the specific sections/services on the Site. 3. Nature of data provision The provision of Personal Data, requested for registration purposes and/or to allow access to specific sections of the Site is optional. Any refusal to provide data on your part could prevent full access to the services included on the Site. 4. Purpose of data processing Personal data are processed for the purposes indicated below:
a) to provide services and/or products that you request, including but not limited to sending newsletters, presentations, videos and/or other products via e-mail and/or other electronic or alternative means of communication; IP addresses, as described in the point above, are collected for a series of internal purposes including, for example, system administration and transmission of aggregated data, which does not allow the identification and verification of the registration number on our Site, to our advertisers. The data subject has the right not to provide consent to the processing of his or her Personal Data in relation to the purposes indicated under letters b), c), d) and e). 5. Method of data processing As regards the purposes indicated under point 1, registration and holding of Personal Data will take place by means of the use of suitable ICT tools to memorise, organise and select the data, as well as allowing consultation, extraction and collation, with logics strictly linked to the purposes mentioned above, in accordance with the provisions in force. Personal Data will be processed by authorised data processors, who have received suitable training regarding the protection of privacy, with the employment of sufficient security measures to guarantee: (i) the privacy of the subject or subjects to whom the data refer; (ii) data security, preventing access by unauthorised persons, for example; (iii) availability of data. The Company adopts physical, electronic and management measures in order to guarantee the security and accuracy of the Personal Data collected, including the limitation of the number of people that can physically access the server that contains our database and electronic security systems and protection passwords that guard against unauthorised access. Notwithstanding the above, no data transmission on the Internet may be guaranteed as 100% secure. As a result, the Company cannot guarantee the protection of any information you may transmit. 6. Categories of external entities to whom Data may be provided The following categories of entities, which the Company may employ fulfil the purposes above, may be privy to your Personal Data:
- Individuals and/or legal entities employed to develop software applications and/or databases or to transmit communications on behalf of the Company. Personal Data will not be disclosed or communicated to any other entity. Personal Data may be transferred abroad and, subject to your prior consent, to countries outside of the European Union, for the above-indicated purposes only. Given that the entities belonging to the categories described above are unconnected with the original data processing, they shall use the data in the capacity of “Owners”. A detailed list of these entities is available upon request of the data subject. 7. Data subjects’ rights to request information The Company hereby informs you that art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 of 30th June 2003, ("Code of protection of personal data") recognises specific rights of the data subject to request information that may be exercised at any time. This regulatory provision states that:
"1. An individual has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data of which he or she is the data subject, even if such data are not yet registered, and that such data must be communicated to the data subject in an intelligible form. Should you wish to be removed from the database of users registered on the Site, please send an e-mail to this address: remove@digitalmacigs.com stating your full name, e-mail address and “Remove Name” in the subject of the e-mail.
