Brianzolo, born in 1964, Gabriele Ronchini is married to Fausta and they have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Passionate about digital and interactive technologies, he has always actively followed the issues related to new media, taking part in the cutting-edge technology.
Member of the Economic Commission on Digital Television of the Ministry of Communications, Ronchini has contributed to the drafting of specialized books and is a speaker in seminars and university courses.
After graduating in Information Sciences and a specialization in cybernetics and neural networks and after two years of university research, in 1990 he began his career by joining Inferentia, creating the business unit specialized in digital communication Inferentia Interactive, established to operate in the emerging interactive media market.
Ronchini then joined IBM Consulting in 1999, coordinating the e-business team, personally following the main European clients who were taking their first steps in the world of e-commerce.
In 2000 he opened the Italian branch of Grey Interactive, belonging to the American communication giant Grey Global Group, helping the great Italian brands in the development of digital communication at an international level.
In 2003 he was a Founding Member – with Enrico Gasperini, Alberto Fioravanti and Gabriele Gresta – of Digital Magics and held the position of Executive Director. Digital Magics is a certified incubator of innovative digital startups with content and services of high technological value.
The business incubator Digital Magics participated in the birth and launch of over 100 initiatives, which contributed to the development of the entire digital sector in Italy, creating the basis for the generational renewal of the entrepreneurial parterre. In July 2013, Digital Magics was listed on AIM Italia (now Euronext Growth Milan), a market organized and managed by Borsa Italiana.
In 2008 Ronchini is one of the founders of the startup 4w MarketPlace, the main Italian adnetwork that operates in online advertising with the most important publishers and media agencies and currently holds the position of Executive Chairman.
Since 30 November 2015 he has been CEO of Digital Magics: he is responsible for the investment and development of the investment portfolio.
