On 3 August 2012, DeRev closed one of the most relevant early stage operations ever made in Italy, receiving a \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 1,25 million investment by Vertis Venture and Withfounders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The startup operates in Naples and Milan and employs 10 young talents. With more than 5 million registered users on its social networks, DeRev\u00e2\u20ac&#x2122;s crowdfunding campaigns have raised over \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 3,000,000, with more than 20,000 active users contributing to cultural, political, entrepreneurial and charity projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DeRev has established a national and international network of relations that involves public administrations, political parties, Italian and international companies, cultural bodies, non-profit organizations, universities and incubators. In June 2013, the European Parliament and Microsoft listed DeRev among the Digital Democracy Leaders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In March 2014,\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Digital Magics invests in DeRev<\/strong>, purchasing a market share of about 17,5% of the startup and launching a new business model based on\u00c2\u00a0<strong><em>civic crowdfunding<\/em><\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0for public administrations and activities of public interest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DeRev is the main Italian crowdfunding platform.
